Thai Airways International Public Co,.ltd is a national enterprise subordinated to the Ministry of Transport. It is a public company registered in The Securities Exchange of Thailand since 1991 with the Ministry of Finance as a dominance shareholder at more than 50%.
We operate the airlines business that transport passengers, goods, parcels and postal through air transportation via Thai major cities to the primary cities around the world. From schedule flights to charter flights and through our alliances with Suvarnabhumi Airport as the main hub for all flight routes.
Other than airlines business that is our main business, we have other related business and support our airfreight both in business unit model and joint venture model; including:

Our main revenue is from passengers and goods transportation in the ratio of 95%. The other 5% is from the other supporting enterprise.

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited is the national carrier of Thailand. It operates domestic, regional and intercontinental flights radiating from its home base in Bangkok to key destinations around the world and within Thailand, offering the only non-stop A380 flight (TG 911) between London and Bangkok daily from London Heathrow Terminal 2 to Bangkok with convenient 1150am departures (from March 27 1230). Journey time to Bangkok is approximately 11h 25m depending on the time of year. On arrival, there are a host of THAI flights connecting throughout Thailand and beyond to create your perfect Far East holiday.
From March 29, 2016 its overnight non-stop B777 flight (TG917) will depart from London at 2125pm, arriving in Bangkok at 1500pm and will operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. From October 29 the flight will operate on a daily basis.
While the A380 has 507 seats in three classes: 12 in Royal First Class, 60 in Royal Silk (Executive) Class, and 435 in Economy, the B777 has 348 in two classes: 42 in Royal Silk and 306 in Economy.
THAI’s Economy Class occupies the whole of the lower deck and rear section of the upper deck on its A380. Seats offer a generous 32” pitch, with 18” width. The 10.6” AVOD seatback touch screen provides an interactive system with virtually unlimited access for movies, information, music and gaming channels plus communications device connectivity and PC power point. The checked baggage allowance on economy class is 30kgs.
The separate Royal Silk Class cabin contains 60 shell seats in a staggered layout for greater privacy and direct aisle access. Seats provide a 74” pitch. 20”width and 180° fully-flat recline. Each passenger has a 15” personal AVOD interactive touch screen, Wi-Fi, SMS and mobile communication access, plus in-seat PC Power point. The checked baggage allowance on Royal Silk Class is 40kgs.
Royal First Class provides just 12 compartment-style seats, offering greater privacy in a separate cabin, combined with the highest degree of personal service. Seats have an 83” pitch, 26.5” width and 180° fully-flat bed configuration. The 23” AVOD interactive touch screen entertainment and information system offers almost unlimited channels, plus there is full connectivity for Wi-Fi, mobile and SMS communications devices, with an in-seat PC Power outlet. Other exclusive facilities include spacious lavatory/dressing room, and Royal First Lounge on-board that serves as a multipurpose area. The checked baggage allowance is 50kgs.
